Oleana

We happened to come across this restaurant during a Sunday walk in the neighborhood. After a little wait, we were seated. What followed after was an explosion of taste buds and one of the best places to dine in. The decor is very Turkish/Mediterranean. It's cozy and dimmly lit. We had a few of their small plates. The cauliflower with pine nuts, the spinach falafels, topik, hummus, steak drops,dumplings were all very unique and all came together to make this gastronomically evening , one to remember. We also loved their dessert offerings of baklava. I highly recommend this gem of a place.

My favorite restaurant in the state, one of the best foodie experiences ever! The Fatteh is heavenly, but you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. The service is welcoming and attentive, and they have a convenient parking area as well. The baked Alaska is incredible.

Pretty pricy. Spent $100 for 2 people. They have a rotating menu but if its there, i would recommend the sultan’s delight. The short rib was super soft but not overcooked and too greasy. I thought everything else was pretty standard. Not bad, but not mind blowing or worth the price. The atmosphere and service i would say reflect the high cost.

We each went with the $85 per person Chef’s Choice meat option at Oleana, and it was an incredible experience. The plates just kept coming—so many, in fact, that we were already full before the second-to-last dish arrived. Every single plate was perfectly executed, with spot-on texture, color, presentation, and flavor. They truly nailed it across the board. That said, the standout for me was the almond cremolata ice cream at the end—unreal.

I had dinner at Olena in Cambridge and was really impressed. The restaurant has a simple and unpretentious vibe — nothing flashy, just a clean and comfortable space where the focus is clearly on the food. It feels welcoming and calm, perfect for a relaxed evening out. We chose the Chef’s Choice of Vegetable Meze and Dessert, and it was absolutely worth it. A series of small, vegetable-centered dishes came out one by one, each well-seasoned and carefully prepared. There was a good balance of warm and cold plates, different textures, and interesting flavors. Even without any meat or fish, the meal felt thoughtful and satisfying. You could tell the kitchen puts effort into getting the details right. I also ordered a cocktail, and it was excellent — well-balanced, not too sweet, and clearly made with quality ingredients. The drinks menu isn’t overly long, but what they offer is crafted with the same care as the food. Service was smooth and friendly — present when needed, but never pushy. Our server explained the dishes briefly and kept the pace of the meal just right. Dessert was a few small sweet bites, not heavy, but just enough to end the night on a good note. I’ll definitely return. Olena is a gem for anyone who enjoys plant-forward food, great drinks, and a relaxed, no-pressure dining experience.

Every dish was amazing. We had previously dined at the sister establishment Sarma, and it was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. Oleana did not disappoint either! We dined as a table of four and just shared a bunch of dishes. We left full and satisfied. The service was great, they were very concerned about making sure we knew there were no allergens in the dishes. Great Mediterranean flavours and incredible and affordable wine list.

Oleanna’s menu is incredibly creative and fun, packing flavorful dish after dish in a chill dining space. I came here about 6 months ago and I still regard this meal pretty well and the staff were nice. I found their desserts to be very unique options and most memorable, besides there wonderful half chicken too of course.

They are so high on any Boston restaurant list simply cos they deserve to be. The small plates are inventive and complex - and truly spectacular The sultans beef was a delectable explosion of flavours. The pasta dish was also remarkable. It’s a small place and it’s difficult to score tables and spaces are cramped - but they may as well pack me in a box if u can get food this good! One advice - always book - and don’t take the late seatings - there is an inevitable wait and it will spoil your mood. One more piece of advice - parking is a mess- plan ahead for time Staff are knowledgeable and want to help Desserts were spectacular- if you don’t have the baked Alaska - you are missing something BIG - you may have had this in other places but this one is definitely something else. In the end it is a delightful experience
